In an alternative “Stations of the cross” Tenebrae Service filmed on location in Potternewton Park stopping at each of the twelve park benches that can be found there.

Rachel and Graeme (Rachel behind the scenes) take us on a walk from bench to bench in the sunlight, as we reflect on the scriptures from Luke’s account of the final days and hours of Jesus’ life. Take this opportunity to walk with us as a prayer walk. Pausing, Praying, Following, Reflecting, Questioning, Breathing, Living all these events from the life of Jesus this Good Friday morning.

This Tenebrae prayer walk service will last about 45 minutes in total.

The HLBC Tenebrae Service was filmed in Potternewton Park in Leeds for Good Friday Worship. Introduced by Graeme. Reflections by Liz.

The camera was held and steadied by Rachel who also accompanied me on the prayer walk. The dog you can see is “Beans” our dog, I don’t know if he was praying, he also accompanied us on the prayer walk. The weather was down to God, as well as the nature in the park. What a wonderful earth that we have. Let’s treasure it.
