Join us for worship, prayer and teaching this morning, the final Sunday of Advent. This is an all-age service on Christmas Eve morning.
‘The Angels Candle’: Sue leads this service exploring the words of John chapter 1. The Angels candle – represents PEACE. Peace on earth and goodwill to everyone. “The grace of god has appeared bringing salvation to all” (Titus 2:11) Now the saviour is born, what does this mean for us? The birth of Jesus as Immanuel, God with us. The wonder of the divine word made human, praise and thanksgiving for God alongside us in Christ and for the opportunities for proclamation that the season brings.
Morning services at HLBC include a variety of music styles and singing, Bible teaching and prayer. This Sunday there are no separate sessions for children, and the service content will include material aimed at all ages. A baby room is available at the back of the church during the service. Refreshments are provided after the service ends, usually between 11.20 to 11.30am.
Contact the Church Office if you’d like to know more about services at HLBC.
